For a good night out drinking, socialising or just relaxing then Walthamstow Village has a lot to offer with it’s array of Bars & Pubs in and around the area.
The Queens Arms on Orford Road is the main sports pub and shows regular football on the big screen. They also have a lot of entertainment from live bands to Karaoke.
The Castle hold a regular quiz and curry night and often have a DJ on a Saturday night. The food is excellent and reasonably priced.
The Nags Head is a place to chill and has a very relaxed atmosphere. They now sereve delicious Italian food and hold a beer festival once a year and have several Ales on tap. Every Sunday afternoon they have a live Jazz band.
The Village also has a weekly quiz night and serve food, quite tasty Pub Grub and also well priced.
Ye Old Rose and Crown on Hoe Street is a large pub and theatre venue which host regular shows and comedy nights.
The King William IV near to the Bakers Arms has its own micro brewery Brodies. Well worth a visit. The Ales are fantastic and at £1.99 a pint a good night is had by all. They have regular entertainment as well.
The Bell on Forest road has just undergone a full refit and is open. Great music, real Ales, nibbles and a DJ at weekends.
